Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station. Transfer to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. Check-in at the hotel and relax. Evening stroll on M.G. Road for local exploration. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Full-day excursion to Tsomgo Lake, a glacial lake surrounded by mountains. Visit Baba Mandir, a spiritual site dedicated to Indian Army personnel. Return to Gangtok in the evening. Optional visit to the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
You will be received at vajra taxi stand by our office executive and drive to Lachen by a sharing car. On the way do not miss seven sister waterfall and Singhik view point. Lunch will be offered at a local restaurant on the way. Reach Lachen by afternoon and check-in at the hotel and enjoy overnight stay in Lachen.
Following breakfast, prepare for a morning drive towards the renowned Gurudongmar Lake, considered the most sacred lake in North Sikkim. Please be aware that only Indian nationals can visit this lake due to security reasons. Situated at one of the highest altitudes in North Sikkim, the lake's elevation may lead to breathing difficulties; therefore, it is advisable to take it easy and avoid overexertion. After paying a visit to the lake, return to the hotel, refresh yourself, and proceed to Lachung. Spend the night at the hotel in Lachung.
Embark on an early morning drive to Yumthang Valley (Alt 11,800 ft), a captivating alpine flower valley nestled in North Sikkim, approximately 24 kilometers away. Revel in the picturesque landscape and explore the hot springs before returning to Lachung for lunch. For those interested, there's an optional tour to Yumesamdong Valley or Zero Point, located near the Tibet Border (Alt 15,000 ft, 23 kms from Yumthang), available for Indian tourists at an additional cost with prior notice. Following lunch, journey back to Gangtok.
